As a Photomask Printability and Repair Process Engineer at MTC (Mask Technology Center), Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of MTC's Printability and Photomask Repair processes. You will also work extensively with the fab and equipment support engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and capability.



Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Design and execute experiments to improve existing repair and printability processes
  • Use DOE to develop repair processes for new materials such as EUV and novel phase shifting films
  • Implement SPC monitoring of critical process parameters to ensure process consistency
  • Follow up on failed repairs or process issues, work to permanently correct any issues
  • Consult with fab team on day to day questions
  • Create and maintain procedures and guidelines for correct process execution
  • Mentor and train other engineers and manufacturing personnel




Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in photomask printability or photo lithography
  • Good understanding of optical patterning, simulation experience preferred (SLitho or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of SEM and AFM imaging and repair technology

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and document experimental results
  • Self-motivated with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, patience and willingness to teach others


Education Requirements:


  • MM.S. or higher degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or Engineering Discipline
