The successful candidate will report to the VP of the Advanced Memory Systems organization and will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team developing new memory modules based on the Compute Express Link (CXL) architecture that is being introduced into all server platforms.

Key priorities for this role include:

  • Collaborate with business partners to create an industry leading CXL product portfolio.
  • Lead the development of roadmaps to address key tactical and strategic technology needs in support of the Micron s CXL portfolio.
  • Enable and drive the comprehensive set of ingredients to insure successful CXL module roadmap execution.
  • Apply broad knowledge of industry business and competitive environment to set strategy for the organization to drive meaningful positive impact to the Company, its customers, and its suppliers.
  • Serve as an internal and external thought leader and represent CXL product strategy to senior executives and customers.
  • Collaborate with VPs in Micron s Technology Product Group (TPG) and the business units to deliver high-value CXL based solutions in support of customer expectations.
  • Actively manage the engineering teams to execute on time, on budget and to expected quality, by aligning with Micron s strategic priorities and maintaining clear communications of tactical and strategic area performance.
  • Develop internal technical talent, especially for hard-to-source systems capabilities. Anticipate and plan for future organizational capability needs by ensuring that critical talent gaps are filled and successors are developed.
  • Demonstrate and champion leadership attributes and core values by fostering a culture that is conducive to attracting and retaining the best technology employees in the world. Partner to drive improvements to our D&I objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in data center product development in taking green field concepts to at scale product deployments
  • A deep technical background in data center hardware and software systems,
  • At least Fifteen (15) years of experience in leading large and diverse teams at the senior management level
  • A track record of delivering successful system level products and solutions with a strong focus on customer engagement.
