Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Director, Global Business People Partner (BPP), Technology and Products Group (TPG). This leader will be a strategic business partner, advisor and change agent for the TPG team. S/he will be accountable for driving and directing organizational talent strategies and initiatives that have global impact.

The Senior Director will partner closely with the TPG leadership team to ensure alignment of talent strategies to the broader company and HR strategies and initiatives, while enabling the organization s success. S/he will also work closely with the broader partnering team and act as a senior advisor to the TPG executives/senior business leaders on the development of long-term goals, organization structure, and talent strategies and decisions.

The Senior Director, BPP, TPG will manage complex, ongoing functional challenges and drive transformation stemming from changes in business strategy and organizational priorities. S/he will promote a high-performance culture identify, engage, reward and retain top talent and build a positive work environment.

S/he will also lead the U.S. Regional team, ensuring effective design and delivery of HR programs, focusing on speed, effectiveness, and localization of programs as needed. This leader will be expected to collaborate with all HR functions to influence the design and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to be effective and efficient, as well as meet business needs and local requirements. The Senior Director will also develop a deep understanding of the business needs of their partners and act as a feedback channel to HR in the design, execution and delivery of programs and policies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understand the impact of talent alignment to business needs, identify gaps and prepare for future workforce needs
  • Act in a consultative role to enable and support organizational effectiveness and accountability to influence business outcomes
  • Coach, influence and challenge executives and senior leaders when needed to drive effective leadership and talent management
  • Drive alignment and cohesion of the TPG leadership team
  • Advocate HR strategies and solutions into the business, champion initiatives that support Micron culture, behaviors, and engagement goals and provide comprehensive communication and change management
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence HR program design andimplementation plans, programs, and solutions for your customer and the Asia region.
  • Proactively assess business needs and collaborate with the VP of Global Business People Partnering and GBPP leadership team to develop and deliver talent, organization and engagement solutions
  • Participate in and lead workforce activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, outsourcing, or restructuring
  • Lead change initiatives and implement specific HR strategies to achieve strategic objectives
  • Align performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce desired team member and organizational behaviors
  • Ensure that HR programs and plans are aligned to business priorities, balancing corporate, functional, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs
  • Ensure consistent Executive onboarding and integration
  • Drive leadership succession planning and development
  • Champion Micron s culture and core values
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for HR to improve impact on the business and region
  • Oversee the alignment and delivery of HR programs and associated metrics
