As an experienced IT Manager Application Services, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward crafting next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your extensive knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming will help the team meeting the expectations, standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve sophisticated and mission-critical problems, internally and externally. Your quest to embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Own the development, implementation, and delivery of successful large-scale, critical and/or difficult software efforts involving significant work (can be new software or a refactor of existing software)
  • Take the lead in identifying and solving ambiguous problems, architecture deficiencies, or areas where your team s software bottlenecks the innovation of other teams
  • Lead design reviews for your team and actively participate in design reviews of related software or other team software at your location
  • Work with business partners in a multi-functional matrix to gain an understanding of requirements.
  • Act as a technology and domain authority in multiple business domains and or technical areas.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Influence your team s technical and business strategy by making insightful contributions to team priorities and approach
  • Lead onsite and offshore teams


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 13 years of software development experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities in order to discuss, influence, and deliver technical concepts easily and efficiently to development teams.
  • Knowledge of complete systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong track record in delivering sophisticated and multi-functional projects.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization either verbally, through email, or by attending team meetings on the status of current and ongoing initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and Integration developers.
  • Assist development teams during detailed design activities to clear roadblocks and aim for an outcome.
  • Ability to help production support teams to solve production issues if needed.
  • Ability to lead using SCRUM management tools to deliver on sprint goals and commitments.
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Technical proficiency in the following areas:
    • Mobile Apps
    • .NET experience, .NET Core experience preferred
    • Web
    • SQL, No SQL
    • UX/interface design
    • Angular
  • Cross-platform strength
  • Flexible and situational adaptable with a passion for learning new things
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Customer focus with strong problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organization and delivery skills
  • An ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment

Education:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering required. M.S Preferred.

Equivalent experience and/or other related certifications will be considered
