We are changing the way Micron Technology, Inc. thinks about Security Engineering & Operations and are looking for experienced Security Engineers to help in this endeavor.
In this role you will be part of a fast-paced team focusing on intellectual property protection (IP)and data loss prevention in Micron s Technology Development (TD), IP Security department.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
This role will focus on various security technologies within the IP Security team, some of the key areas of responsibility include:
- Design, implement, improve technical controls deployed for Technology Development worldwide
- Mature control reporting and assurance review processes for policy exceptions
- Advance and collaborate with senior staff and Security Operations
- Fulfill daily service requests and resolution
- Participate in root cause analysis with senior level engineers
- Solve control issues with end users
- Participate as Technology Developments IP Security SME on critical initiatives and multi-functional project teams
- Operationalize, streamline and automate procedures for consistency and efficiency
- Balance security with end user efficiency and business needs
- Code with at least one scripting language
Minimum
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical field or equivalent work experience
- Operational experience with security technical controls and related control frameworks
- Minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure experience
- Minimum of 3 years of operating or engineering solutions relating to layered security products with any combination of the following technologies:
- Identity management and access control solutions
- End point protection and file integrity monitoring solutions
- Data classification, rights management and encryption solutions
- Cloud Access Security Broker and data loss prevention solutions
- Strong PowerShell capabilities for automation and reporting
- Ability to adapt communications to the audience (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
