Job Description

As a Design Operations Manager at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for providing regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals and development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote career growth. You will also be expected to monitor overall design innovations, coordinate with area leaders for measuring and tracking design competitiveness, and work with the Emerging Memory team to establish a go to market 5 year plan. You will also work closely with the TD engineering team and Production Design teams to implement innovative ideas into production plans.

Responsibilities:

Drive the daily work and long-term strategy of EA Business Operations

  • Work with ADE, EM, and CXL staffing to ensure programs have clear objectives, assigned deliverables with owners, and track the plan with milestones.
  • Develop processes and policies to drive consistency across the Design organization and eliminate work for senior leadership and front-line managers
  • Develop and drive engagement, recognition, and cost management strategies in close partnership with corporate HR and finance partners/programs
  • Drive special projects chosen as the highest priority for alignment across organizations and overall product time to market
  • Develop, coordinate, and sustain top-level organizational objectives with regular report-outs to senior staff

Deliver strategic solutions

  • Understand the needs of the Design team and our customers and the value Biz Ops can provide them.
  • Implement and oversee key metrics to ensure deliverables are achieved and have the desired impact
  • Manage conflict, build effective relationships, and sustain effective communication with partners
  • Promote collaboration, provide project sponsorship, and guide deliverable execution

Support Central EA Leaders and Team Members

  • Support the development of a high-performing culture and programs that foster engagement, DEI, and innovation
  • Ensure full alignment with Business Operations
  • Support succession planning, talent development, leadership development, and engagement programs
  • Coach, mentor, and develop current and future Micron leaders
  • Exhibit and drive leadership attributes within the team

Education Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent work experience in Business Operations
