Job Description:
As the Sr. Financial Analyst, Capital Investments at Micron, you will help ensure Micron makes capital investments that optimize ROI and efficiently use cash. You will play a key role in improving the accuracy of capex forecasts by understanding and fixing causes of inaccuracies, keeping managers informed by preparing performance-to-plan analyses, assuring monthly close and forecast information is comparable and variation understood, and preparing ad hoc analysis to aid decisions. You will produce management reports to monitor Capital investment and ensure the business spends on priorities and within budget. You will be expected to evaluate existing processes, and standardize, and improve them. Where appropriate you will automate reporting within the Micron systems of record. You will work closely with purchasing, central planning, S&OP, VP representatives, business unit finance, and corporate accounting organizations among others.
Oversee management reporting
Compile capex plans in support of business plan cycles
Strive to improve plan/forecast accuracy
Support the zero-based budget approach
Create weekly plan-to-budget reports
Manage the monthly capital review process
Support the capex component of S&OP scenarios
Improve, standardize, and automate capital processes and controls
Perform budget-to-actual analysis
Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed
Train people new to the capex processes
Experience with Excel, PPT, SAP, Cognos Powerplay, Sharepoint
Be highly motivated and self-managed
Have a sense of urgency and the ability to deal with change and the shifting demands within the business environment
Have strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Understanding of NPV, ROI, and ZBB principles
Experience with manufacturing scenarios a plus
Knowledge of capital management processes and MiCAP a plus
BA in Finance or accounting; or BS in engineering

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
