Deposit Operations/Checking Assistant

Job Description:
The Boise Deposit Operations Department has an opening for a Deposit Operations/Checking Assistant. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to branches.
This position is responsible for:
Performing tasks, answering questions, fulfilling requests, and resolving problems from internal and external customers in a courteous, respectful, attentive, accurate, supportive, efficient, and timely manner as requested;
Assisting with various deposit operations functions;
Assisting with the accurate, thorough, and timely completion of branch audits;
Assisting with ACH processing, on-line banking support, statement rendering, check imaging and debit cards;
Providing back-up in various areas of Deposit Operations as needed or assigned; and
Consistently performing other department duties as assigned in an accurate, efficient, supportive, and timely manner.
Job schedule:
Full time, 40 hours
Job Requirements:
Working knowledge of deposit accounts, security procedures, and experience with an on-line computer system are preferred. Excellent computer, 10-key, filing, organizational and communication skills are essential. Internal applicants must have "meets" or "exceeds" ratings on evaluations of performance expectations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
