Tax Analyst- Tax Professional
Looking for a knowledgeable and reliable Tax Analyst to help support a National Grocery Chain in Boise area. The Tax Analyst must have a degree in accounting, finance, or related field and have great communication skills.
Tax Analyst
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns.
Assists in the preparation of accounting entries for the Company's fiscal and period closings.
Assist in collecting data for the negotiation and settlement of tax audits with various taxing authorities.
Assist management to minimize tax liability through sound and informed application of tax laws and regulations.
Assist in the research of new tax legislation and court decisions.
Complete special tax projects such as depreciation, gains, losses, LIFO calculations etc as assigned.
Tax Analyst Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field to accounting and finance.
Must have general knowledge of computer capabilities.
Must have prior experience with Microsoft Office applications and Corptax is desirable.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment.
Tax Analyst Job Specifics:
Hours- Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: Starting at $25.00
This position is starting as a Three month contract but has the availability to offer extensions or permanent placement.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
