Job Family Description:
Responsible for promoting quality throughout the company, implementing and leveraging the Quality Management Systems (QMS) at all levels of the organization. Evaluates strategies, policies, processes and procedures as part of the management system. Promotes a Quality Culture, supports initiatives that drive on-going process improvement, facilitating changes to the quality strategy into the business. Must be the primary interface, owning and managing the local implementation of the HP Quality Management System. Maintains and implements certification coverage ensuring on-going compliance to HP standards and external certification. Analyzes data, identifies trends and use statistics ensuring the processes meet HP business and customer needs. Promotes understanding of the processes required for fulfillment of customer satisfaction and contractual commitments. Uses improvement methodologies to provide leadership to support business performance.

Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovated solutions. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Appropriate Review Board approval is required.
Responsibilities
Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for the design and implementation of systems for quality management and continuous improvement of products or solutions across multiple platforms and organizations within the Business Unit.
Consults with senior and executive business leaders to identify relevant internal, client and external quality standards and measurements for the assigned areas; develops overall quality management framework, including policies, documentation, training and assessment plans, to meet and exceed quality requirements.
Identifies and evaluates new technologies, process innovations, and partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into quality systems architecture.
Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence and guide decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced manufacturing and development partners, industry standards groups, and customers.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of quality innovation and excellence.
## Qualifications
_Education and
Experience:_
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
Lean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred
Audit/assessment certification preferred
Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification preferred
Typically 10
years experience.
_Knowledge and Skills:_
Extensive experience designing and developing business-wide quality management and improvement systems and solutions.
Excellent analytical, statistical and problem solving skills.
Extensive expertise in industry quality standards and methodologies and their application to business-wide systems.
Evaluating, selecting, and creating forms of empirical and root-cause analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate compliance with quality standards.
History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for quality systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate quality architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
