Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES:1. Perform all machine shop operations.2. Detect and report defective materials.3. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.4. Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping,de-burr, sawing and sanding.5. Perform inspection of machined products (First Article Inspection and In Process Sampling).6. Ability to use instruments such as preset comparator,gauges,calipers,micrometers.7. Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.8. Perform all other duties, as assigned, and demonstrate flexibility with changing work flows.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to frequently lift push pull objects that are up to 50 pounds.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma and graduation from certified technical school.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DESIRED: CNC Programming experiencemandatory.10-15 years of machine shop experience requiredSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:Must have working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally and in writing.Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use math to perform calculations, and use hand held measuring tools.Be prepared to take a test upon arrival during interview process.
