Summary Under close supervision completes computer center production activities by performing tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures; do front line problem solving for batch processing, servers, network, and end users. Responsibilities
Interacts with console to manage scheduling system, systems messages, backup software, and multiple alert systems. Must understand command language for multiple system platforms and how to maneuver through multiple layers of tools to manage systems and processes and retrieve detail for problem issues.
Ensures timely intervention for problems that occur throughout the companies computing network by monitoring multiple alert systems and taking action based on documented procedures to resolve or escalate issues. These issues can be with processing, network connections, servers, entire locations, or third party locations and/or data interactions.
Completes all tasks assigned to each shift as required and as noted in turnover and on the shift specific check off sheets which include; test restores, deployments to terminal servers, system reloads, tickets, and complete clear shift activity in turnover.
Ensures physical security of the Irving St Complex by following procedures when asked to allow access on off hours. This person is usually alone on shift and is the first point of contact for the security companies when an alarm is triggered.
Provides Service Desk support to users during non-business hours. Must have knowledge of proper procedures for the different situations that called in. Must be courteous and be able to communicate with a user at their level of knowledge, and know when to provide assistance, escalate, or refer the issue to the next business day.
Maintains a clean and orderly computer operations center by vacuuming and dusting the computer room, keeping boxes and debris out of the computer room, maintaining a clean shared work area, and organizing supplies. Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for meeting the minimum requirements.
Must be able to work any shift including night and weekends.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
