Responsibilities
: This position is an EWP Software Trainer II. Develops, manages, coordinates and conducts advanced software training seminars for customers in the use of Boise proprietary software products (BC Framer, BC Calc and BC Connect). Travels to Boise's regional training centers as well as customer locations to provide this service. Collaborates with sales team and demonstrates Boise software products during sales presentations to potential customers. Conducts web presentations and training, educating software operators in more effective methods of software use. Develops training aids and tests new versions of Boise Software Products. Average travel is approximately 2 - 3 weeks per month.
Basic Qualifications
:
To be considered for this position individuals must have a strong background in the use of Engineered Wood Software or in Commercial Software Testing, Support and Training. Bachelor's degree preferred or will consider technical degree and/or equivalent job experience, two to five years minimum required. Thorough knowledge of windows operating systems. Requires five years' experience working with BC Framer and BC Calc software (or other industry related software packages). Knowledge of engineered wood product application preferred and an understanding of how the structural wood components are used in the field with three to five years of design/training experience. Experience in developing training material. Must have excellent presentation skills, the ability to train groups of people, telephone problem-solving skills, time management, self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision. At least 50% travel is required generally to customer locations.
