This Oncology RN role is a Float position, supporting the Medical Oncology Clinic and Radiation Oncology Clinic.
Main responsibilities include:
patient education, care coordination, triage, assessing and managing immunotherapy/radiation therapy patients and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

    n
  • Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • n
  • Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments
  • n
  • Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
  • n
  • Performs therapeutic nursing interventions
  • n
  • Manages care of patients
  • n
  • Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
  • n
  • Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • n
  • Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
  • n
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Nursing Degree
  • n
  • Experience:
    One (1)
    years' RN experience
  • n
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

  • Preferred:
    Oncology experience and/or OCN
