Meets established sales goalsGenerates leads and solicits new business to expand current client baseKnows Company's pricing and product lines to educate customers on primary and ancillary itemsUses point of sale materials to drive salesUses a forklift to load and unload product from warehouse to service vehicleTreat customers with respect and courtesyIntroduces new product lines and price changesCommunicates trends in the territory to management to protect and expand our customer baseAccurately processes customer transactions including payments, invoices and inventoryProvides waffle iron maintenance at customer facilities in accordance with company policyAdheres to company established routing schedulesWorks with customers to resolve any complaintsManages inventory including proper rotation of product as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouseComplies with the Fleet Safety Program, traffic laws and all Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations without exceptionKeeps company vehicle neat and clean along with following established vehicle maintenance scheduleCompensationAverage routes generate earnings of $80K on an annualized basis with larger routes generating earnings into the six figures.
Job RequirementsRequired Skills, Experience and BackgroundHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseAbility to pass a drug screen and maintain a DOT physical certificationAcceptable driving, criminal, and credit backgroundWell-spoken and persuasive at making a sales pitchIndependent spirit and able to work without direct supervisionAbility to meet deadlines and ensure timely deliveriesEye for detail and ensure the quality of products soldSome mechanical skills helpfulEssential FunctionsAbility to see, hear, speak, drive for long periods, bend, stand,walk, carry and lift items or boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, and speak English, in order to select and deliver product to customerAbility to operate a handheld device for processing ordersAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to drive company vehicle for extended periods of timeAvailable for overnight travel (0 to 3 nights per month) as required by the routeSome mechanical skills helpfulAbility to be forklift certifiedBy proceeding, I confirm:
