Building Relationships, Exceeding Expectations! Estimator Responsibilities / Requirements:
1) Perform all duties necessary, in the role as Estimator, to uphold the identity and dignity of HC Company, our clients, subcontractors and associates in the industry.2) Participate and collaborate with all aspects of HC Company from estimating, pre-construction, project management and business development, as requested, to use your background and history to provide new insights, understanding and design future opportunities to aid in the growth of HC Company and to best take advantage of your abilities.3) Exercise superior knowledge of the plans, specifications, and system to coordinate and align actions in achieving the overall goals of multiple projects simultaneously. 4) Review and understand plans, specifications, building systems and overall project goals5) Prepare estimates for potential projects, using design-build, CM/GC, ROM and hard-bid estimating techniques6) Solicit proposals and quotes from subcontractors and suppliers7) Plan and pace work efficiency to meet productivity goals8) Perform quantity take-offs9) Prepare bid proposals for submittal10) Review designs and provide constructability reviews and value engineering alternatives11) Engage with Clients to fully understand their project needs12) Produce accurate estimates which include proposal comparisons and estimate summaries13) Perform historical cost data gathering and comparison, and managing data for future use14) Communicate with subcontractors and promote project interest, review project scope and pricing to ensure accurate proposals or budgets15) Assemble bid packages16) Perform other related duties as assigned or required17) Actively participate in the Safety CommitteeKnowledgeable in the following computer programs:
o Procore Project Management Software o Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.) o Microsoft Project Scheduling Software Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree, preferably in construction management or business o 5 or more years of experience as a commercial project estimator or similar position o Outgoing self-starter that can work well in a team framework o Detailed knowledge of construction methodology and cost controlsBenefits Package:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
