Our client, a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions space, is looking for a Facilities Electrical Engineer to be part of the design, construction, commissioning, and sustaining operations for our new state of the art high volume manufacturing Fab and existing technology development fab in Boise, ID.
The Facilities Electrical Engineer at is responsible for working in a team environment with parallel engineering disciplines, to analyze operational efficiency activities, identify cost effective sustaining and manufacturing improvements and provide design input on projects.
Will provide input for operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical distribution systems and equipment.
This position works directly with the operations team technicians and outsourced vendor maintenance teams monitoring systems parameters via intelligent systems such as SPC/IOT and SCADA (Schneider Electric), ensuring they are running within specifications.
Site has dynamic voltage recovery and dynamic UPS systems for bridging power bumps and outages.
Responsible for overall electrical system integrity including routine short circuit analysis, coordination studies, arch flash updates, reliability, and predictive improvements.
Responsible for tracking system loads, forecasting consumption and maintaining utility budgets.

The Facilities Electrical Engineer must have the pertinent people skills that enable the coordination with other system owners, maintenance crews and construction trades to drive projects and daily tasks.
Will be responsible to develop operations and maintenance documentation and interface with vendors providing services.
Provides design engineering input for existing system modification, upgrades, and new equipment installations.
Facilities Electrical Engineer will create, review, and flawlessly execute electrical switching procedures required to move loads for maintenance and construction activities.
Engineering support and oversite of Design, Construction, Commissioning of Mechanical systems including:
Review of vendor provided design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy Review of equipment configuration and distribution routing of systems relative to functionality, egress, ease of maintenance requirements, constructability, alignment with P&ID's, etc.
Validation of engineering calculations Review and approval of equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff Review and validation of construction RFI responses Review and approval of shop drawings and construction models Field engineering QA during construction Commissioning support Entry of system information into a capacity planning software Safety & Quality:
Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with client and Technology Development (TD) safety policies Utilizes and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including PPE, CoHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safety Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with stakeholders Actively participates in the EHS problems by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems Always wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designation Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment Drives quality improvement initiatives in their area to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and identify cost savings Operates and maintains equipment and tools within manufacturer's and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met Ensures area-specific procedures and documents exist and submits updates to content when needed Understands and enforces hazardous energy isolation and lockout/tagout procedures Partners with site PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) to assess risk and replacement of end of life equipment items Partners with site PSM team for management of Facilities equipment Communication & Collaboration:
Ensures appropriate communication with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders Partners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics Collaborates with global teams and stakeholders to resolve equipment/process issues and maximize system stability Communicates proactively with leaders and stakeholders on the daily priorities and issues Attends and participates in meetings and provides relevant technical input Partners with area leaders and stakeholders to gather input for area improvement Communicates changes made to equipment and follows business rules for change control Partners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation Proactively communicates issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restrictions, or lost moves Coordinates with stakeholders and leaders on issues and changes, and provides regular status updates Broadens cross-disciplinary knowledge through new assignments Listens to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovation Exchanges complex information with colleagues and managers Provides advice and guidance to less experienced team members Project Management/Planning:
Utilizes a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projects Works closely with Design and Projects teams to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget Tracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time Scopes and owns complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to client Collaborates with stakeholders on the design and coordination of projects Prepares project scope and ensures necessary input from appropriate stakeholders Ensures that scope meets requester needs Collaborates with consultant resources as needed Coordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actions Provides support for the installation or commissioning of new facilities infrastructure Provides support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approval Reviews design packages ensuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified Supports equipment startup and commissioning Coordinates and leads cost reduction projects Collaborates with stakeholders on lessons learned to improve and prevent future problems Technical/Data Analysis:
Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings Reviews and supports capacity analysis for the systems tracking against actual data from the facility and collaborates with stakeholders to input this data into the FCPS system Provides troubleshooting support for complex problems and addresses root cause Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis Eliminates single points of failure and mitigates risk Provides consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sites Provides a high level of service with a strong customer focus and builds effective relationships with supported teams Provides support to ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Identifies and develops a strategy for equipment/processes that streamlines PM frequencies and effectiveness Partners with key stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for equipment/process efficiencies Works with Manufacturing on excursion root cause identification, elimination, and prevention Supports corporate requests and assignments Supports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systems Assist in planning for required capacity by ensuring equipment are capable of meeting site requirements Drives a culture of TPM to promote standardization and improve equipment and system reliability Identifies and evaluates interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems Uses administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities Performs research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support cutting-edge processes Ensures safety is considered in all aspects of design, enhancement, modification and process Provides technical training and guidance to client's and contracted engineers and Technicians

Minimum - Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Required:
Three or more years of relative experience Preferred:
Master's degree in engineering and/or your discipline specific Professional Engineer certification Preferred:
Three or more years of Facilities/Plant Operations experience in semiconductor manufacturingSalary:
$18 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
