Job Type Full-timeDescriptionA Senior General Practice Attorney is high-level attorney with a practice focused on the needs of the everyday consumer in their community for at least 7
years in areas including but not limited to estates & probates, family/domestics, small business services.
The successful Senior General Practice Attorney is self-directed and thrives with supported autonomy.
They generally receive a substantial portion (approximately 60%) of their work through Gravis Law's lead generation and marketing and/or other attorneys in the office.
A high-level Senior General Practice Attorney is expected to generate a portion (40%) of their own billable work.
Attorneys have access to coaching and support services for business development and networking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Prepare simple wills, powers of attorney, and other common estate planning documents Assist clients with probate and estate administration Educate clients on estate planning topics such as gift giving, charitable giving, and asset protection.
Experienced in dissolution/divorce, adoption, parenting plans, and protection orders Successful record of mediation experience Successful trial experience Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents Ability to consult on and handle basic small business processes (e.
g.
formations, operating and partnership agreements, contracts) Strong communication and advocacy skills, including competence in empathetic listening.
Networking to prospective clients through business development events and activities Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Actively managing matters in multiple practice areas and have clients that would transition with you Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
Excellent legal research skills.
Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice.
Bar license must be aligned with the state in which you physically reside.
Typically, 7
years of experience as an attorney.
Expected annual production at or above 1500 hours.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
Qualifications:
Strong process, project, and operational management skills; Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills and an ability to successfully juggle multiple mandates at the same time; Excellent analytical skills and an ability to effectively use both data and experience-based instinct to make decisions; Creative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive and professional demeanor; Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.

, Finance, Operations, Sales, IT) to set objectives and produce meaningful results; 7
years as a practicing attorney in a relevant field or fields.

Wage:
Annual Salary from $100,000 - 125,000 as base, based on experience.
Bonus Program:
The Attorney is expected to meet all Quarterly Collection Requirements.
Additional information about the Quarterly Collection Requirement and the Attorney Bonus Program will be provided to the Attorney for review and signature.
