Accountant I, Fixed Assets and Project Accounting

What you will be doingThe Senior Accountant position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the department.
They support the collection, classification, analysis, and reporting of financial results of the company.
They are responsible for coordination and communication related to various subject matter areas).
The position will be based in Boise Idaho.
Main responsibilities Assist in period, quarter and year-end close procedures for timely and accurate financial reporting Ensure reporting deadlines are met Assist in analyzing and resolving accounting issues Research and answer questions from Real Estate/Construction, division level operations, management, and auditors Interacts with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Real Estate, Property Management & Legal Departments on a regular basis Complete closing activities including journal entries and P&L analysis Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations Project Accounting responsibilities to support construction, procurement and technology spend Oversight of CIP (Construction in Progress) Fixed Asset Management responsibilities including planning & executing asset additions, transfers & Disposals Other duties as necessary to support the department and company financial functions What we are searching for Proficiency in Excel Knowledge and understanding of GAAP Ability to analyze data Critical thinking skills Accounting organizational and time management skills Preferable experience of using BI reporting and Alteryx Analytics, other large data analysis tools We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and

Educational level:
4 year college degree in Accounting or similar field requiredExperience level:
Prefer minimum of one year of general accounting experience Property related Accounting preferred Travel requirements:
