The Event Operations Staff is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and tearing-down all eventsThe Operations Staff works as a team on the event floor to ensure the facility is safe for all guests, clients, and employeesThis position requires considerable physical activity and manual laborWAGE:

Sets up tables, chairs, and other event equipment in a safe, timely manner as directed by Banquet Event Order and complete the tear down at the conclusion of the event Operates, uses and assists with heavy equipment; forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift, walkie-stacker, and driving vacuum Reports maintenance requests for damages, broken equipment and other facility concerns Ensures all safety, organizational policies, and procedures are followed Responds quickly to client and department needs and changes Maintains cleanliness of event rooms, lobbies, restrooms, service halls, warehouse and storage areas Maintains outdoor cleanliness of the Grove Plaza, loading dock and sidewalk perimeter of Boise Centre Continually checks for restrooms cleanliness, restocks restroom supplies, and removes trash Operates forklift safely, upon obtaining forklift certification Assists with loading dock traffic and warehouse activities Reports lost and found items immediately for record keeping and storage Responds to emergency situations and resolve operational problems Assists with building and event security including perimeter checks and monitoring guest access Identifies and resolves potential trip hazards, water spills, and broken glass Uses professional radio etiquette to communicate work-related information Performs a variety of related tasks and duties as assigned PI226477664 Recommended Skills Catering Activity And Reception Organisation Employee Assistance Programs Heavy Equipment Maintenance Medical Emergency Stock Control Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
