Software Tooling ManagerDescription -HP is looking for a highly capable Software Tooling Manager with significant Jira Align experience to help drive an Agile adoption across our Print Software Platform organization.
It is an exciting time to be at HP as our services and solutions businesses are growing fast! The Print software organization has grown significantly, and we need to evolve the way we work to keep up.
This role will be a part of the Agile Coaching Office and will help to architect and roll out the tooling to support the new email protected processes across a very large software organization, covering multiple geographies and technologies.
The Software Tooling Manager at HP will be working in close collaboration with the Coaching/Training team and other organizational stakeholders to help implement our agile strategy and business agility roadmap.
They will train and educate colleagues on various tools, document best practices, and provide coaching for implementation/usage.
The overall goal is to lead towards an organization-wide adoption of Agile mindsets, methodologies, and ways of working.
The Software Tooling Manager will collaborate with various cross-functional teams including software development, testing, program and product management, support, etc.
to ensure the right tooling solution(s) are implemented and stakeholders have the knowledge to use them properly.
They will also monitor tools usage with the intention to encourage a culture of continuous improvement to facilitate the delivery of valuable technology solutions rapidly, collaboratively, and reliably to the organization.
Responsibilities Drive the architecture of and oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Jira Align Software and Jira Align/Jira instances, ensuring they align with the organization's workflow requirements.
Manage a team of Tooling experts that support tools for the Print organization as well as the overarching HP community.
Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for the ADAPT tooling team, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
Provide training sessions and workshops to end-users on Jira Align Software, Jira, and other relevant software tools.
Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient utilization of tools.
Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to understand their workflows and requirements.
Implement process improvements and customizations in Jira Align, Jira and related tools to streamline project management and tracking.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Jira Align and Jira Software to provide actionable insights on project progress, team performance, and resource allocation.
Stay updated on the latest advancements with Jira Align Software, Jira plugins and other related tools.
Evaluate their potential benefits and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance overall efficiency.
Ensure the security and integrity of Jira Align / Jira Software and tooling instances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Knowledge & Skills Experience in Jira Align, Jira and other email protected tools Knowledge and experience of lean-agile practices.
Experience in agile frameworks such as SAFe, Kanban, Scrum.
Experience in Jira administration and workflows preferred.
Proficient in reporting with extensive experience in Looker, ThoughtSpot, and PowerBI, complemented by strong SQL skills (a bonus), and a proficiency in LookML (a plus).
Understands software development processes and procedures, particularly in a cloud platform environment.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
