6 Full-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description Description The Idaho Department of Water Resources is hiring a Financial Technician in the state office in Boise.
This is a career-building opportunity for an entry-level professional with a keen interest in Idaho's water resources and water's role in our economy, ecosystems, and quality of life.
The Financial Technician is responsible for specific financial duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel voucher processing, and identifying and correcting errors and discrepancies.
This position may perform a variety of para-professional financial duties including developing and maintaining records, documents, reports and financial data, reviewing financial documents and records, and performing some entry level accounting, bookkeeping and/or audit functions.

Experience independently applying policies, procedures or regulations to determine if financial transactions are in compliance Experience creating formulas and employing built-in calculation functions to performcomplex financial, statistical, or analytical calculations in Microsoft Excel Experience with the State of Idaho Fiscal system and STARS system Supplemental Information Examination There is an examination to determine your eligibility.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
