As a Financial Analyst, you will play a central role in managing Micron s capital investment planning. You will work with both manufacturing and non-manufacturing organizations to facilitate their capital budget planning and realization. By analyzing capital budgets and related data, you will look for opportunities to drive value creation and improve the accuracy of the overall capital forecast. This role requires excellent business partnering skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad and diverse group of stakeholder organizations.

Micron Finance is implementing many new systems. An SAP based capital planning system is currently being designed with our implementation partner. This role will be involved in maintaining the old system until go live and will be a key part of the transition team ensuring data structure functionality and accurate reporting. We are also looking for opportunities to implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and ML (Machine Learning) tools to make our processes more efficient and our forecasts more accurate.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Serve as an SME in support of a new SAP based capital planning system
  • Enhance capex reporting by providing easy to create and easy to access value added analytics and insights, and improve process efficiency
  • Lead the build-out of reporting using newly created SAP based capital planning system datamarts
  • Assist organizations with managing their capital budgets which includes maintenance of the capital project mapping and tracking of approved budgets
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leaders in diverse geographies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling, or related fields in the manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high-tech industries preferred)
  • Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
  • SQL experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI
