As a Specialized Corporate Travel Counselor you will plan and book all details of travel for VIPs, executives and international travelers for an account in Seattle, WA according to client travel policy as well as Global Business Travel policies and procedures. You will ensure concierge level customer service through effective use of the Apollo GDS and associated tools while maintaining excellent telephone service techniques and prompt replies to emails.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Handling domestic and international travel related requests and process air, hotel, car, limo reservations, as well as small groups and meetings.
Counsel clients on efficient routes, lowest available fares, passport and visa requirements, exchange rates and GBT travel products and services.
Act as a customer liaison between client corporation and client contracted and GBT preferred suppliers.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: VIP reconfirmations, customer service issue research, follow-up and resolution; ARC processing/reporting (voids, refund and exchanges); monitoring the WIL and MAX; researching debit memos, and special projects as needed.
## Qualifications
Qualifications:
5+years of corporate travel experience is required; current corporate travel experience is highly preferred.
Strong Apollo knowledge/proficiency is required.
International reservation experience is required
Knowledge with American Express procedures and policies is an asset.
Flexibility in shift based on business needs, including supporting project work and vacation/sick time.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-tasking several duties.
Independent decision making capabilities combined with strong and creative problem solving skills.
Demonstrates strong organizations skills and capacity to prioritize tasks and research and resolve customer service issues.
Automated and manual ticketing with proficiency in ticket exchanges are assets.
PC and office equipment troubleshooting skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) are desired.
Ability to research on the internet and use web based tools.
Effectively communicate with customers and clients via demonstrated oral and written skills; proficiency in e-mail applications.
If you reside in the Seattle area this position will be a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on location in Seattle, WA with the ability to work from home 2 days per week. If you reside outside of Seattle this position will be virtual, however, you will be required to travel to Seattle for training and also for meetings on occassion. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PT.

Dedicated work space must be within own residence and that follows the ergonomic and safety guidelines for performing travel counselor duties
Axcess@Home Agent is responsible for supplying their own furniture; desk with lockable drawer or separate lockable file cabinet, chair, document shredder, smoke detector in proximity of work area, and fire extinguisher
Axcess@Home Agent must complete Flexible Work Arrangement Application and Agreement
Axcess@Home Agent must complete and meet the requirements of the Work Environment and Safety Assessment
High speed internet capability with at least 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speeds: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISP's are permitted)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
