Certified Surgical Tech Day Surgery PRN days - Boise

Description:

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for our Day Surgery Center in Boise! This is PRN position, working as-needed when CSTs are on PTO or a day is expected to be especially busy.

You will work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday 6:
45am-5:
15pm, as needed

No weekends, no holiday, no call

As a CST with Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide set-up and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff. Provides support and communicates directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.

General Requirements:

  • One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred

License/Certification:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT
  • An active LPN license is accepted in lieu of CST/TS-C certifications
  • Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
