In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the front office and supervising the front office team members.
Our practice has two locations (Boise, Nampa) and this position is responsible for both practices.
This role reports to Chief operating officer.
Responsibilities Lead and supervise front office staff, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and ensure a cohesive work environment.
Oversee the reception area to ensure a welcoming and efficient patient experience.
Train and monitor front office staff in delivering excellent customer service.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Manage the appointment scheduling system to optimize patient flow.
Coordinate with the doctor and prioritize appointments based on urgency and physician availability.
Oversee the verification of insurance information for new and existing patients.
Collaborate with billing staff to address any billing or insurance-related issues.
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth coordination between front and back-office operations.
Generate and analyze reports related to front office performance, patient satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
This position is also responsible for surgery scheduling and coordination with the surgery center.

Healthcare experience is required.

Ability to lead and motivate a team of front office staff.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, and colleagues.

Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records, insurance verification, and billing processes.

Ability to convey information effectively to patients and staff.
Familiarity with medical office software, appointment scheduling systems, and electronic health records (EHR).
Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and a dynamic healthcare environment.
Openness to implementing new processes for improved efficiency.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance, including HIPAA regulations.
Proficiency in generating and analyzing reports related to front office performance and patient satisfaction.
Skill in resolving conflicts and addressing interpersonal issues within the team or with patients.
