Responsibilities:
The Technician is expected to:
? Repair vehicles using appropriate tools, technologies, and procedures in order to restore the vehicle to proper working conditions.
? Seek ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service.
? Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
Reports to:
Service ManagerEssential Job Functions:
1.
Ensure Maximum Production and Customer Service.
o Perform all repairs utilizing appropriate tools, procedures, and operations.
o Follow policies and procedures as per your specific manufacturer(s) manual.
o Disassemble and assess any supplemental needs, labor, and parts, and communicate with Shop Foreman, Assistant Service Manager, or Service Advisors.
o Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts, or procedures.
o Communicate with personnel regarding any issue which may cause a repair delay to a vehicle.
o Maintain employee, customer, and vendor confidence while protecting operations by exercising discretion when handling sensitive confidential information.
o Complete and maintain all Larry H.
Miller Dealerships' required training.
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.
o Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
o Perform all other job duties as requested by management.
o Must use the dealership software, like CDK, Xtime, Wi-advisor, Auto.
live, Rapid recon, and others required as per management.

Physical Demands:
o Work performed in a dealership setting due to the location of customer vehicles and shopsupplies.
o Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands andfingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and move about facilities.
o Required vision includes close, vision, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjustfocus.

o Exposure to shop environments such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals, andadhesives.
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditionsprecedent at that time.
o Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
o Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work scheduledesignated by the department supervisor/manager.
o In general, this position is assigned regular business hours; however, it is typical to workmore than 40 hours per week.
Minimum
Qualifications:
1.
Education, Experience, Certification(s)/Training.
o High school diploma or the equivalent.
o 1
years of progressive experience in automotive service.
o Maintain valid driver's license and MVR record within company policy requirements.
o Applicable factory training credentials.
o ASE certification, local state safety inspection, and emissions license preferred.

o Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others- The ability to handle complaints, settledisputes, resolve grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Knowledgeo Knowledge of Larry H.
Miller Dealerships' current company management systems isdesirable.
o Interacting with Computers- Using computers and computer systems.
Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office products is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
