org/ The Iron Workers' Gladiator Program is designed to provide an in-depth, hands-on experience to those interested in pursuing a career in the concrete reinforcing trade.
The program provides those in the program an opportunity to try their hands at the ironworking trade and make an educated decision about choosing it as their lifelong career.
Our professional trainers personally evaluate each participant's progress each hour every day.
If the Gladiators can achieve the basic skills required to become an ironworker apprentice shortly after training, we will direct them to one of the local employers who will hire them as an apprentice.
Every hour spent in this program will be credited towards the Gladiator graduate's required apprenticeship hours.
While we provide all the tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed to go through the program, the Gladiator graduates are required have their own tools and PPE when they start working on a construction job.
The Gladiator Program lets you decide if ironworking is the career you want before spending $200 to $250 on tools you won't be able to use if you decide not to pursue it.
Our classes are set up according to the needs of our contractors.
While we do not guarantee anyone a job, we do guarantee you an opportunity! The rest is up to you! Not everyone is cut out to be an ironworker.
