Job Description:_ Establish strong business relationships with customers through solid business development activities, including encouraging referrals and repeat business, implemeting a customer call program, and active community involvement. Primary lending responsibilities involve complex commercial, real estate and construction loans. Manage, perform and support banking activities including originating, delivering and servicing all types of loans and offering deposit products and services to customers to obtain or expand relationships. Provide high quality customer service while contributing to Bank of the Cascades lending and credit risk management objectives and uphold BOTC Sales-Service-Soundness values.
_Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:_
Develop effective working relationships with Trusted Advisor teams collaborating to present and deliver lending and deposit products/services for new and existing customer relationships.
Review and manage inquiries and applications for complex commercial lending requests. Responsible for real estate/construction lending customers, providing exceptional customer service and following established policies and procedures.
Achieve performance objectives for diversified loan growth, profitable relationships, deposit referrals, loan portfolio quality and loan production.
Develop customer and prospect lists to maintain and expand full account relationships through business development, customer call program, and community involvement.
Work with Credit Analysts to prepare and present for approval, credit analyses on all borrowing requests.
Responsible for collecting past due accounts and establishing action plans for higher risk relationships; recommend proper risk rating and take remedial action making applicable adjustments.
Oversee and ensure accurate loan documentation and processing according to regulation and BOTC Lending Policy.
Ensure timely and thorough monitoring of assigned loan portfolio through periodic reviews, continual analysis and proper documentation.
May make business site visitations and inspect construction sites in order to approve construction draws.
Prepare and maintain current and accurate personal pipeline report; respond to issues pertaining to Regulator's and third party credit examiner's review of loan files.
Maintain extensive knowledge of competitor's products, services, and lending activities in the market area.
Maintain expected compliance knowledge of lending and deposit activities and regulations. Uphold and promote adherence to all Bank and banking institution regulations, laws, standards, policies and procedures.
Promote a professional image in all business activities through strong customer relations, business development and community involvement.
Demonstrate leadership and direction that enables the Bank to operate at peak efficiency.
Provide Branch and office support, including responding to incoming telephone calls, electronic mail, and voice mail.
Participate and complete various other projects and duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the Bank.
BOTC's registered MLOs must provide their unique identifier to consumers per BOTC policies. MLOs must follow BOTC procedures for updating their information as necessary, certifying authenticity, and renewing their registration annually.

_Experience and Skill Requirements:_
Ten plus years banking and lending experience.
Strong credit and analytical skills and extensive knowledge of bank services.
Must possess proven business development skills, knowledge of the overall business marketplace, and a history of successful community involvement.
Extensive understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with advanced accounting skills, mathematical aptitude and computer spreadsheet skills.
Demonstrated decision-making, and effective problem solving skills.
Maintain thorough knowledge of credit services and a complete understanding of Federal Regulations and BOTC Loan Policy.
Demonstrated willingness to accept progressively complex responsibilities.
Must be competent in the use of personal computer systems, internet applications and electronic mail, and various windows based software applications to include, but not limited to, banking application software, word processing, and spread sheet software.

Demonstrate acceptable personal financial responsibility and be bondable.
_Education / Certification Requirements:_
Bachelor's Degree in Related Field; or an Equivalent Combination of Work Experience and Education
