Leidos has an opening for a Geospatial Data Business Analyst in Boise, Idaho. -The Geospatial Data Business Analyst will support the government lead for Wildland Fire Information and Technology Data Governance Committee with analyzing the data needs of the business environment, organizing the subgroups around the environment, and facilitating work that will:
Define authoritative sources
Define requirements for a national repository
Define all data within the business environment and how it is used
As part of the contract deliverables required of this position, the successful candidate will:
Facilitate business community meetings
Support governance structure requirements
Enable business rules to be defined through facilitation efforts
Help business community problem solve, outline and design approaches to best business practices for executing best practices in data management
Qualifications:
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required plus minimum of 6 years of experience in geospatial data, business process mapping, and facilitation practices. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential. Communication skills should be in both writing and working within groups. A Bachelor's degree with focus in a related area including business, database management / IT.
