Position
Summary:
ESGW NRM assist people with disabilities and disadvantages in becoming self-sufficient by providing leading edge services that create solutions and change lives. To fulfill this, the TC Reentry Specialist will facilitate the pre-release process to women located at the Pre-Release Center at South Idaho Correctional Facility. The TC Reentry Specialist will teach pre-release classes to offenders, assist with the preparation of pre-parole board interview documents, assist offenders with their personal presentation prior to their parole board hearing, ensure that offenders have the necessary identification to obtain employment upon release, request funding to obtain birth certificates and housing as needed through IDOC, maintain open communication with IDOC and other community organizations regarding the offender s progress and behavior and notorize parole contracts prior to release.

Required Skills
Works only at the IDOC facilty of SICI.
Obeys all of IDOC standard operating procedures.
Maintains a safe environment at all timess
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
Applicant must pass a background check.
