We are currently conducting interviews for a full time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for this school year.
Qualifications: - State certification as a Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired or ability to obtain the proper state certification - At least 3 months of experience working in an educational setting as a TVI. Description: Provide direct and indirect vision impairment services to students who are blind or vision impaired. Teach Braille reading and writing, adaptive technology related to Braille, and activities of daily living. Evaluate students, developing and carrying our IEP programs Soliant Health: Soliant Health partners with school districts to ensure that all of their special education students have access to the best services available to them. We understand that the openings may be located outside the ideal commutable distance from you, so we have customized our compensation packages to allow for housing, relocation, and meals when the position exceeds 70 miles from your permanent residency.
