Overview of Job Function:
As part of the Verint Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Practice team, the Senior IT Operations Manager will wear many hats to ensure the team provides maximum up time, security, and scalability for hosted production, staging, and development environments. This position will manage and mentor a team of professionals. The Senior IT Operations Manager will be strong at execution - estimating resources, project planning, and on-time project delivery. This position will collaborate with the Operations team to help tune the DB, write monitoring scripts, and evaluate new operations technologies. The Senior IT Operations Manager will work to make sure his/her team improves infrastructure, supports new product rollouts, and writes tools to monitor systems in a scalable, elegant and maintainable manner.
The Senior IT Operations Manager will be the technical subject matter expert to design and execute the Information Security program for the ERM practice. The Senior IT Operations Manager will ensure the documented security programs and policies are implemented and enhanced while improving security processes. This position will interact with customers and 3rd party auditors on SOC2, PCI, and other security reviews.
Principal Duties and Essential
Responsibilities:
Provide project management and technical leadership to the Hosted Operations and NOC team;
Work with the team to enhance the scalability, redundancy, maintainability, and uptime of our hosted SaaS fraud detection solution;
Design and enhance the network architecture and processes to support Information Security and Data Privacy progra
Interact effectively with customers and 3rd party auditors to articulate security architecture and solutions;
Ensure the Operations team has documentation and work instructions to implement efficient and repeatable procedures;
Interface with internal Project Delivery and Engineering teams;
Work with team to maintain and build on existing code base of system monitoring and management tools;
Work with team to tune Linux, KVM, and VMWare configurations for maximum performance and security.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical engineering degree or equivalent education and work experience;

years of experience in similar function and role preferably in a team lead and management capacity;
At least 5 years experience with Linux or UNIX, and associated Networking;
Experience with Virtualization (VMWare, KVM, etc) and configuration management (e.g. SALT);
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl;
Knowledge of Linux and common UNIX daemons (httpd, nfs, sshd, smtp, cron, etc);
Experience with platform and application monitoring tools like Nagios;
Experience with trouble ticketing and bug tracking systems like Zendesk, JIRA etc;
Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification;
Preferred Requirements:
Security compliance and audit experience (e.g. PCI and SOC2);
Windows OS and administration experience;
Security certifications like CISSP is desirable;
IT Operations experience in a Managed Services delivery model;
Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills;
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and parallel projects;
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills;
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks across team boundaries and/or geographically dispersed teams

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
